Aggreko , the global leader in temporary power rental and temperature control , announced today the launch of an innovative range of low emission generators .
The 1500 kVA generator has been specially designed to significantly reduce the emission of pollutants , and as a consequence to achieve significant environmental benefits :
• Emissions of nitrogen oxides ( NOx ) are reduced by 44 % compared to other standard equipment;
• Aggreko contributes this way to the reduction of greenhouse gases and particularly to the protection of the environment;
• 76% less particulate matter ( PM) ;
• Emissions of carbon monoxide ( CO ) are reduced by 41 % ;
• Aggreko has managed to reduce its emissions of CO up to 232 mg/m3, thereby achieving cleaner air .
A step ahead
Any Aggreko power generator of the 1500 kVA range specifically meets the U.S. EPA regulations on non-road mobile equipment. Although Europe has not yet introduced any legal changes with regards to this matter, Aggreko has designed their equipment so that it can comply with future European regulations on emissions from mobile equipment.
